About Dr. Barrett

Kevin F. Barrett, Doctor of Dental Surgery, first opened his practice in Park Ridge in 1979 and has been serving the community's general dentistry needs ever since. In October of 2005, he moved into his state of the art facility on Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge and continues to concentrate on the dental needs of patients of all ages and families of all sizes. Dr. Barrett and his staff are committed to providing their patients with a comfortable experience and are known for their gentle approach and full explanation of procedures being done.

Educational Background

Dr. Barrett graduated from St. Mary's college in Winona, MN.  He went on to study dentistry at the prestigious Loyola University School of Dentistry, where he received his DDS after 4 years.  

Associations

Dr. Barrett is a member of the American Dental Association and has been since 1979. The American Dental Association (ADA) is the world's largest (and oldest) dental association. Founded in 1859, the ADA is an advocacy group that promotes oral health care through the field of dentistry and has more than 152,000 members representing all facets of the dental profession. Dr. Barrett also holds memberships in both the Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society.

Personal Information

Born and raised in Park Ridge, Dr. Barrett and his wife Jane have two children, Kevin and Shea. The family makes their home in Park Ridge.
